![]() Since I’ve been running your wonderful drivers I exit out all the Asus stuff. "When running the Asus Drivers there is an ASIO control panel that allows setting the bit depth at 16, 24 or 32. ![]() Here's my post on the Unified Drivers Blog and their response: Will report back here when I find something. I'm going to make a post on the Unified Drivers Blog asking about the bit depth settings. Normally I have the Asus Drivers not running so don't know if this ASIO Panel has any affect when I'm running the Unified drivers. It was down in the taskbar when the Asus Drivers were running. So apparently there is a separate ASIO Control Panel? I also don't have this setting available with the Unified Drivers.Īdded on Edit: I just found the Asio Panel for the Asus Drivers. To check what you are talking about I started the Asus Xonar Audio Center Deluxe for Essence ST (It's normally off when using the Unified Drivers.) and did not see anything about bit depth. ![]() They supposedly solved a few problems with the Asus drivers. I know of a least one other here on the Forum that also used them. I have been using the 'Unified Drivers' available here for some time without any problems. I've had an Essense ST with H6 Daughter card for some time. It is part of the sound card's driver settings for ASIO. Again my question is: If I keep the ASIO driver at a bitdepth of 32 bit will the sound card still down convert the file to 24 bit? if this is true then is it best to have the card's DAC down convert the file to the supported bitdepth or should I set the ASIO driver to 24 bit so MC can output the music to the cards supported bitdepth?Īgain this setting is NOT within MC. If I change the ASIO driver to 32 bit then open MC it will show that it is outputting at 32 bit. If I set a bitdepth to 16 bit then MC will show that it is outputting the file at 16 bit. If you have an Asus sound card with the ASIO driver that was installed along with the sound card drivers then you can right click the Asus Driver management in the notification area and then chose "Asus Xonar ASIO", you then can change the Bitdepth and the time in ms. And it does have a visual effect in MC when I toggle the 3 available bitdepths. Actually this setting that I'm talking about is not within MC, it's in the ASIO driver settings.

And you can use the following generic formula to get Monday immediately before any given date: In Microsoft Excel, you can extract a day of week from a date by using the WEEKDAY function. So, to find that date, we have to find the Monday immediately before January 5. Consequently, the first Monday is always between December 29 and January 4. In the ISO week numbering system, week 1 is the week containing the first Thursday of the year. B2 * 7 - adds the number of weeks multiplied by 7 (the number of days in a week) to get the Monday (start date) of the week in question.DATE(A2, 1, -2) - WEEKDAY(DATE(A2, 1, 3)) - calculates the date of the last Monday in the previous year.Anyway, I will do my best to provide meaningful explanation for those who are curious to get down to the bottom.Īs you see, our formula consists of 2 parts: Of course, the formula to convert a week number to a date is not trivial, and it may take a while to get your head round the logic. And here is the result returned by the formula: You can find the detailed instructions in Changing date format in Excel. Please note that the formula returns the date as a serial number, and to have it displayed as a date, you need to format the cell accordingly. Where A2 is the year and B2 is the week number. The formula to return the Start date of the week is as follows: This formula example is based on ISO week numbers, with a week starting on Monday. Supposing you have a year in cell A2 and a week number in B2, and now you want to calculate the Start and End dates in this week. So, we will have to construct our own formulas. converting a week number to a date? Alas, there is no Excel function that could do this straight away. But what if you are looking for the opposite, i.e. How to convert week number to date in ExcelĪs you have just seen, it's no big deal to turn a date into a week number using the Excel WEEKNUM function. Most often you would use it in combination with other functions to perform various calculations based on the week number, as demonstrated in further examples. In real-life scenarios, the Excel WEEKNUM function is rarely used on its own. The above formula returns 16, which is the number of the week containing April 15, 2015, with a week beginning on Monday. Instead of referring to a cell, you can specify the date directly in the formula by using the DATE(year, month, day) function, for example: If you'd rather begin with some other day of the week, say Monday, then use 2 in the second argument: In the above formula, the return_type argument is omitted, which means that the default type 1 is used - the week beginning on Sunday. The following screenshot demonstrates how you can get week numbers from dates with the simplest =WEEKNUM(A2) formula: Excel WEEKNUM formulas to convert date to week number (from 1 to 54) Return types 11 through 21 are supported in Excel 2010 and Excel 2013 only. In Excel 2007 and earlier versions, only options 1 and 2 are available. It is commonly known as the European week numbering system and it is used mainly in government and business for fiscal years and timekeeping.Īll of the return types listed above apply to System 1, except for return type 21 that is used in System 2. In this system, the week starts on Monday and the week containing the first Thursday of the year is considered week 1. This is the ISO week date system that is part of the ISO 8601 date and time standard. In this system, the week traditionally starts on Sunday. The week containing January 1 is considered the 1 st week of the year and is numbered week 1. ![]() In the WEEKNUM function, two different week numbering systems are used: ![]() Monday (used in System 2, please see the details below.) Here is a complete list of the return_type values supported in WEEKNUM formulas. If omitted, the default type 1 is used (the week beginning on Sunday).
